Youth IACA Mission & Objectives
Youth IACA has been formed under IACA Chicago umbrella, to inspire and mobilize young people to participate in various community service activities. These groups aim to foster a sense of responsibility, empathy, and civic engagement among youth while bonding on Indian and American Cultural values. These groups often organize volunteer projects such as food packing at Feed My Starving Children, Environmental clean-ups, Food drives, Helping autistic kids and adults through volunteering at Autistic Schools and tutoring programs, and fundraising events for local charities.
They provide opportunities for young people to develop leadership skills, build relationships, and contribute to causes they care about. Youth volunteering groups can be found in schools, colleges, religious organizations, and community centers, offering diverse opportunities for young volunteers to make a difference and gain valuable experiences.
Volunteering provides opportunities for youth to develop new skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication, and problem-solving, which are valuable for personal growth and future careers.
